ACL Injury Study

We are currently conducting a research study looking at improving function in people that have had surgery to repair their knee’s ACL or anterior cruciate ligament. This study will determine how utilizing a type of brain stimulation while you do knee strengthening exercises impacts your function, including how you feel, your balance, and your ability to activate your thigh muscles.

Who should enrollin this study?

You may participte if:

*You are between 18 and 45 years of age

*You have had ACL surgery and are between 6 months and 2 years post-Surgery

*You have been cleared for unrestricted activity for 4 weeks prior to participation in the study.

Participants Will:

Come in for 3 sessions that test knee strength and balance, and 8 sessions in which they undergo strengthening for their quadriceps.

NOTE: If you have had ACL surgery and are not yet cleared to play and still undergoing rehabilitation, we will reach out to you 4 weeks after your estimated date of return to sport.
