Bliss Hemric, M.A., CCC-SLP, a Clinical Educator in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, was recently elected as President of the North Carolina Speech Hearing & Language Association (NCSHLA). She will begin her term as President-Elect in July.
Bliss has worked in the field of Speech Pathology since 1986. She currently provides speech-language services to young children in the Charles E. and Geneva S. Scottish Rite Clinic, and provides clinical training to graduate students in the ASU Speech-Language Pathology master’s program. Bliss has served on a number of NCSHLA committees and is an active member of the Southeastern University Clinical Educators (SEUCE). She is currently the president of the North Carolina Association of Supervisors in Speech Pathology and Audiology (NCASSPA) and a board member- at- large for NCSHLA.
